CELEBRITY LINE UP FOR CHARITY GAME GROWS

A-TV's Chris LeSage, MP Patrick Brown and Hockey Hall of Famer Mike Gartner to play in Hockey Night in Barrie II in support of the RVH expansion on August 13th


50 Goal Scorer Gary Leeman as well as other community notables confirm their attendance for Hockey Night in Barrie II

The list of celebrities playing in the August 13th Hockey Night in Barrie charity game at the Barrie Molson Centre is growing daily with the addition of Former Leaf Star Gary Leeman confirming along with NHL’er David Ling. The list has also expanded with the addition of notable community players such as Dr. Emad Guirguis founder of Lakeview Surgery Center and skin cancer specialist, A Channel’s Chris Lesage Cllr. Alex Nuttal and Cllr. John Brassard, as well as bench coaches Cllr. Prowse and Cllr. Jackson.

“The line up for Hockey Night in Barrie keeps getting better and better. The addition of former NHL All Star Garry Leeman and Columbus Blue Jacket David Ling is just great.”

Additional confirmed players include current and former NHL stars such as Darcy Tucker, Mike Gartner, Shayne Corson, and Aaron Johnson as well as Minister of National Defence Peter MacKay. Minister of Sport Garry Lunn, hockey great Eddie Shack and figure skating legend Jennifer Robinson are returning as coaches.
