![]() Want to keep tabs on your MP? Patrick Brown has an app for that. MP Patrick Brown is the first of Canada’s 308 MPs to launch his own iPad app, an iPhone app and a QR (Quick Response) code to help residents of his Ontario riding of Barrie keep up with him. “I think this is a unique opportunity to tap into a generation that isn’t traditionally as engaged and a wonderful opportunity to try to build those bridges and build those relationships and spark some interest.”, said Brown Scanning Brown’s QR code takes you to the installation page that describes his mobile app. It allows you to view all the latest riding news, events, videos, pictures and enables you to share them with your friends and advocates using Facebook and Twitter. Pass on the news about how Patrick is making a difference in Ottawa. The Patrick Brown Mobile Application showcases his commitment to Barrie and puts you in direct touch with him at the grassroots level using the latest in technology. Brown’s app has a variety of features from local riding news, pictures and video to his columns in the Barrie Examiner, a calendar of upcoming events and links to his Facebook page and to his Twitter feed. |
