Canada Summer Jobs 2009
January 05, 2009
Dear Constituents: On December 22nd to support meaningful work experiences for students and to aid organizations that provide important community services, the Government of Canada announced the launch of Canada Summer Jobs 2009. Proposals will be assessed using the following guidelines:
The assessment of applications will be carried out on a constituency-by-constituency basis, ensuring that local priorities are reflected in the assessment. I strongly advocate for the Canada Summer Jobs Program and urge local not-for-profit and public-sector employers to investigate this opportunity to help create summer jobs for young fulltime students 15-30 years old. Applications will be available on February 2, 2009 and must be submitted by February 27, 2009. Interested employers can apply at Services Canada, 48 Owen Street, Barrie, or online at www.servicecanada.gc.ca/csj2009 Best regards, Patrick Brown MP Barrie |
